The WealthCheck score measures the health of your portfolio and how well it compares to other members in SelfWealth. Your portfolio will be allocated a rating between F and A+.
It's made up of the following parts:
- Your portfolio performance, relative to other community members (50%)

How is portfolio performance measured?
Performance accounts for 50% of the WealthCheck score and is a time-weighted calculation based on your performance over 1, 3, 6, 12 months and annualised. If we are missing information for a certain period, you will be given the community average for that period.
How is my SafetyRating measured?
The SafetyRating accounts for 40% of the WealthCheck score and is an assessment of the following components:
- What you hold in your portfolio
- The distribution of holdings
- Holdings considered low or high risk
- How you've allocated your funds to each holding
How is my portfolio valuation measured?
Your portfolio valuation contributes to 10% of the WealthCheck score and is based on an independent valuation of each holding within the portfolio, as done by Refinitv (previously Thomson Reuters).
