Market depth, also known as depth of market, shows the level of supply and demand for a given security such as a stock or ETF. Availability of this feature varies depending on which international market you are trading on.
United States Markets
Market depth is not available for United States stocks and ETFs through Selfwealth. Selfwealth provides access to trading across many different United States exchanges rather than a single market like the ASX, which makes it not possible to provide accurate depth of market data.
Hong Kong Markets
Market depth is available for all shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) through Selfwealth. To access depth of market information, you will need to meet one of the following conditions:
- You already hold at least one HKEX security in your portfolio, or
- You have funds available in your Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) cash account.
