If you open a Selfwealth International Trading account you will also be assigned a 'PhillipCapital ID' once your application is complete. Your PhillipCapital ID will always begin with the letters 'SW' followed by a 7 digit number (e.g. SW1234567).
The Phillip Capital ID is used as a unique identifier for your international holdings and cash. If you have multiple portfolios with Selfwealth International Trading enabled, each portfolio will have its own unique PhillipCapital ID. It will only be displayed once your international trading account is approved.
Where can I find my PhillipCapital ID?
Web App
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and navigate to Account Settings.
- Select Portfolios.
- Your Phillip Capital ID will be displayed alongside your portfolio details.
Mobile App
- Go to the Account tab in the main menu.
- Your Intl Account ID (Philip Capital ID) is shown in the account summary at the top of the screen.
If you set up US trading on an individual portfolio on or after 13th of August 2026, and it was the first US trading on your Selfwealth account, some of the information in this article works differently for you. You will not be assigned a PhillipCapital ID, and will instead use your Selfwealth ID for US trading too.
