HKEX Stock Codes
The Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX) uses numerical codes rather than the alphanumeric codes you may be used to on the ASX or US markets. For example, Tencent trades as '700' and AIA as '1299', rather than letter-based codes like 'TLS' (Telstra) or 'AAPL' (Apple).
