For the purpose of understanding your Selfwealth account structure - your "Account" is registered under your email address. You may have multiple share trading accounts (which can be known as share trading portfolios) linked to your registered email address.
Please note, from time to time the company may do an audit and if you do not have any holdings or cash or traded in your trading account after 12 months from opening the account (or portfolio), we may contact you via email to confirm that you still wish to have it open, and to deposit funds or transfer stocks to keep it open within a certain time period. If we do not hear back from you, then your trading account may be closed.
If your account only had one portfolio listed, you will no longer be able to login to your account. If your trading account has been closed due to inactivity and you wish to begin trading again, you can get back up and running by registering again.
If your account had multiple portfolios listed, you will still be able to login and access your account and view/trade on your other portfolios. If you want to re-add another portfolio you may easily do so by submitting a new trading account application.
There are no fees associated with this, and registration for most account types can be completed in 5-10 minutes.
What if I have deposited funds in a closed account/portfolio?
Note: If for whatever reason, you have made a deposit into your account, after it has been closed, it will be refunded to your nominated bank account within 2-3 business days.
