To close your account, email support@selfwealth.com.au with your Selfwealth ID in the subject line. This
helps us identify your account and process your request without delay.
Before submitting your request, make sure you have:
• Sold or transferred all holdings out of your account
• Transferred any remaining cash balance to your nominated bank account
• Downloaded all statements and reports you may need for future reference, including annual statements,
transaction reports, movement reports, invoices, and contract notes
I still have holdings — what are my options?
You have three options before closing your account:
• Transfer to a new broker. Find a new broker and they will assist you with the relevant transfer forms to move
your holdings from Selfwealth to your new account.
• Convert to issuer-sponsored holdings. Each holding will be converted to an issuer-sponsored holding with
a unique Securityholder Reference Number (SRN), managed directly with the company's share registry.
Complete the form linked at the bottom of this article.
• Sell your holdings. Place sell orders for all holdings before submitting your closure request.
I have an old bank account registered — how do I transfer my remaining cash balance out?
Update your nominated bank account details first. Once updated, initiate a cash transfer out, then request
your account closure after the withdrawal has been completed.
