To ensure your closure request is completed without delay, please quote your Selfwealth ID in the email subject so we know which account specifically you're referring to.
Make sure you download all information and statements relating to your account that you may need in the future. This could include annual statements, transaction or movement reports, invoices and contract notes.
I want to close my account, but I still have holdings. What should I do?
If you wish to retain your holdings, you’ll need to find another broker and transfer your holdings externally. They’ll assist you in completing the relevant transfer forms and instigate a transfer from Selfwealth to your new broker.
You can also arrange to have your holdings sent issuer sponsored. That means, each holding will be converted to an issuer sponsored holding with a unique SRN. Your holdings will be managed directly with the company’s share registry, rather than a broker. A form is linked at the bottom of this article.
If these options do not suit, sell trades may be placed.
